Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and salt and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture in a casserole dish.
Assembly and Baking
- Top with a layer of tater tots, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For extra crunch, broil for a minute at the end. Serve with a simple green salad or garlic bread.
