  • 1 pound ground beef Browned and drained.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the beef mixture in a casserole dish.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Top with a layer of tater tots, followed by shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown.
  3. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil for a minute at the end. Serve with a simple green salad or garlic bread.
