  • 4 pieces chicken thighs Bone-in and skin-on is preferred for more flavor.
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs in the tahini marinade, cover, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired, alongside grains or a salad.

Notes

Marinate chicken thighs for a few hours for more flavor. Searing them before baking adds crispiness. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
