  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, sliced Use boneless, skinless for best results.
  • 200 g noodles (egg or rice noodles) Cook according to package instructions.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds a rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For frying the chicken.
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the pan, tossing to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

These noodles can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days or frozen for up to a month. Reheat adding a splash of water if needed.
