  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil For cooking chicken

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the pan and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve the chicken over cooked rice, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For variations, try using tofu or tempeh for a vegan twist, and consider adding bell peppers or broccoli for extra veggies. Don't forget to toast the garlic for enhanced flavor!
