  • 400 g beef (sliced thinly) Thinly slice against the grain for tenderness
  • 200 g noodles (egg or rice) Rice noodles can be used as an alternative
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce For flavor
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce For added depth of flavor
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch To marinate the beef
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil For aroma
  • 1 clove garlic (minced) Enhances flavor
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated) For a zing
  • Green onions (for garnish) Adds color and flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season according to preference

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the beef with cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add a little oil, then add the marinated beef. Stir-fry until browned.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and cook for another minute.
  3. Toss in the cooked noodles and combine everything well, cooking until heated through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For long-term storage, freeze for up to 2 months and reheat in a skillet with a splash of water.
