Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 8 oz Spaghetti Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 lb Ground beef Can be substituted with turkey or chicken.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 can Canned tomatoes Crushed or diced.
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for serving.

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Toss in ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Let the sauce simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve the meat sauce over the spaghetti and top with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding a splash of red wine to the sauce or crushed red pepper flakes for heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
