Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub olive oil over chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 5 minutes per side).
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and let simmer while scraping the pan.
- Stir in sour cream until well combined, allowing the mixture to bubble for about 5 minutes.
- Top each chicken breast with shredded Jack cheese and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for around 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and paprika before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. For longer storage, consider freezing it for up to 2 months, but save the cheese topping until reheating.
