Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground beef Use lean ground beef for better flavor.
  • 8 pieces Taco shells Choose hard or soft shells based on preference.
  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or American) Shredded for easy melting.
  • 2 cups Lettuce Shredded or whole leaves.
  • 1 medium Tomato Diced.
  • 1 medium Onion Diced or sliced.
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced dill pickles work best.
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup For serving.
  • 2 tbsp Mustard For serving.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into loose balls and smash them onto the skillet with a spatula.
  3. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes until crispy, then flip and add cheese on top to melt.
  5. Warm the taco shells in another skillet or the microwave.
  6. Assemble tacos with smashed burgers, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to experiment with different cheeses and toppings. You can use spicy jalapeƱos for an extra kick!
