Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, adding in the water, egg, and melted butter.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the bottom of the pan.
- Layer the cookie dough over the brownie batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the cookie dough layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 5 days. For longer storage, freeze them wrapped in plastic wrap. They freeze well and can be microwaved to restore deliciousness.
