Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Regular marshmallows can be used, chopped smaller.
  • 3 tablespoons butter Melted.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice Add more for a spicier flavor.
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Toppings
  • to taste chocolate chips or sprinkles For decoration and added sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation and Mixing
  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat until it becomes a warm, gooey pool.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted, forming a smooth mixture.
  3. Stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
Combining with Rice Krispies
  1. Remove from heat and quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
  2. Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan using a spatula, wax paper, or your hands.
  3. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Serving
  1. Optionally, top with chocolate chips or sprinkles before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–5 days. Stir continuously while melting to avoid burning, and avoid pressing too hard to maintain chewiness.
