  • 12 pieces Hawaiian rolls Soft sweet rolls ideal for sliders
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded For cheesy filling
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices Optional, can be substituted or removed
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce For spreading on the sliders
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped Adds freshness and crunch
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped For added flavor
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing on top
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added flavor on top

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to create top and bottom halves.
  3. On the bottom half of the rolls, layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, pizza sauce, green bell pepper, and onion.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  5. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  2. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
