  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
Batter
  • 1 cup sugar divided
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, raspberries, 1/2 cup of sugar, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and spoon the fruit mixture over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Don't rush the fruit prep—let the peaches sit with the sugar to enhance their flavor! For a sweeter cobbler, add more sugar to the fruit mix. You can also substitute blackberries or blueberries for raspberries. If storing, keep covered in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
