  • 8 cookies Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream Use cold for best results.
  • 1 cup whole milk Adjust amount for desired thickness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional.
  • to taste whipped cream For topping.
  • to taste chocolate syrup For topping.
  • 2 cookies extra Oreo cookies for garnish Optional.

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreos by placing them in a thick freezer bag and gently pounding them with a rolling pin until crushed.
  2. Add the milk to a blender, followed by the ice cream and crushed Oreo cookies.
  3. Pulse a few times, then blend until smooth. If using vanilla extract, add it now.
  4. Adjust the texture by adding more milk if the shake is too thick.
  5. Pour the milkshake into two glasses, topping with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a whole Oreo for garnish.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, consume leftovers within 1-2 days. For extra flavor, consider blending in peanut butter or using almond milk.
