- In a pot, brown the ground beef and drain off any excess grease.
- Add minced garlic, chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes over medium/low heat until fragrant.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, water, tomato paste, and broken lasagna pieces.
- Bring this delicious mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- After simmering, add in the frozen spinach and cream, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Place a slice of mozzarella cheese at the bottom of your bowl, ladle in the soup, then top with a dollop of ricotta cheese and sprinkle some Parmesan for extra flavor.
Notes
Serve in deep bowls for a delightful presentation. Pair with crusty garlic bread for added crunch.
