  • 0.25 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Optional

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and nuts if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  2. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or refrigerate for an easy breakfast option.
