Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts and cut circles to fit your muffin tin.
- In a bowl, mix the apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt until the apples are well coated.
Assembly
- Place the dough circles into the muffin tin and fill each crust with the apple mixture, leaving room for bubbling.
- Add a dab of butter on top of the filling in each pie.
Baking
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Let them cool a bit before you dig in.
Notes
Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel. These mini pies keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container.
