  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation
  1. In a large pot over medium heat, crumble the Italian sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if desired.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and carrot. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Toss in the diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the uncooked pasta and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
