  • 1 bunch Basil Fresh basil is best for flavor.
  • 1 cup Cheese (Parmesan, Mozzarella, or Pecorino) Grated or sliced for serving.
  • 2 cups Vegetables (e.g., zucchini, bell peppers, mushrooms) Chop into bite-sized pieces.
Protein and Spices
  • 1 lb Protein (chicken, sausage, or seafood) Cut into cubes or slices.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Wine For cooking and sipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop your veggies and protein, setting the garlic aside for later.
Cooking
  1. In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Toss in chopped vegetables and stir-fry until tender.
  3. Add the proteins (chicken, sausage, or seafood) and cook thoroughly.
  4. Mix in the tomatoes, seasoning with basil, salt, and pepper, then let it simmer.
  5. Meanwhile, boil pasta according to package instructions.
  6. Once cooked, combine pasta with the tomato mixture and toss to coat.
  7. Serve topped with cheese.

Notes

For presentation, serve on a festive platter garnished with fresh basil and a sprinkle of cheese. Pair with a colorful side salad and crusty bread.
