Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely minced

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly coat it with nonstick spray if desired.
  2. Arrange sliced sausage, diced sweet potatoes, and broccoli florets in an even layer on the prepared sheet pan.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey, low-sodium soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour the honey garlic glaze evenly over the sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Toss until everything is thoroughly coated.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through until sweet potatoes are fork-tender and sausage is browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly minced parsley before serving.

Notes

Don’t skip sautéing the garlic—it elevates the dish to gourmet status! Leftovers keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. For reheating, use the microwave or a skillet over medium heat.
