- In a large bowl, mix together the Magerquark, eggs, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, combine the oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the quark mixture and stir until you have a homogeneous batter.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
- Spoon small portions of the batter into the pan, frying them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown.
- Place the cooked quark coins on a paper towel to drain any excess oil and keep them warm while you finish frying the rest.
Notes
These quark coins can be served with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, fresh fruits like berries, or a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
