  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Try using panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil For coating

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station: Put flour in one shallow bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and mix breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in flour first, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray or drizzle the tenders with cooking spray or olive oil.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway for even color.

Notes

Let the tenders sit for a few minutes after coating to help the breadcrumbs stick better. Cool completely before storing.
