  • 2 cups almond milk (or any plant-based milk) Use your preferred plant-based milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or to taste) Adjust sweetness to your preference
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the almond milk, chocolate protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  2. Stir in the chia seeds until they’re evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent the chia seeds from clumping.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to let the pudding thicken.
  5. Once set, give it a stir and serve as desired.

Notes

This pudding can be topped with fresh fruit or nuts for added texture. It lasts up to 5 days in the fridge when stored in an airtight container.
