Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
