  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 piece 8-inch square baking pan Greased and lined

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  8. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped brownies.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
