Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 1 package Savory Butter Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
  • 12 slices black forest ham
  • 6 slices Havarti cheese
For the Buttery Topping
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the entire block of rolls in half without separating them. Remove the top half and set it aside. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×12 baking pan.
  2. Layer a slice of ham and half a slice of cheese on each roll.
  3. In a microwavable bowl, heat the butter for about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds.
  4. Brush the buttery mixture on the top half of the rolls.
Baking
  1. Loosely cover the sliders with foil and bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.

Notes

These sliders are best enjoyed fresh but can last in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. To make ahead, freeze before baking. Reheat in the oven without defrosting.
