- In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and sauté the sliced onions (and bell pepper, if using) until softened.
- Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until fully browned.
- Preheat your oven or a toaster oven.
- Once the beef is cooked, divide it among the hoagie rolls and top with cheese.
- Place the filled rolls in the oven until the cheese melts and the rolls toast.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge, or freeze tightly wrapped for 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
