Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package Red Velvet Oreos (22 cookies)
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 7 oz green candy melts Add 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil for thinner consistency if needed.
  • Red heart sprinkles For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a food processor, pulse the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
  3. Add in the cream cheese and mix again until a soft dough forms.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out the dough and roll it between your palms. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until done.
  5. Chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Melting Candy and Dipping
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts in 30-second increments, mixing in between.
  2. Using a chocolate dipping fork, dip each truffle ball into the melted candy, coating it evenly, then place back on the baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining truffles.
  3. Place any leftover candy melts in a piping bag and drizzle on top of the truffles. Add a sprinkle heart on top to create the iconic Grinch heart.
Finishing Touches
  1. Allow to set in the fridge for a few minutes, then enjoy!

Notes

These treats are best enjoyed right after making them, but can be stored in the fridge for 5-7 days and frozen for up to 3 months in an airtight container. They make a festive platter addition during holiday gatherings!
