  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat
  • 1 cup grape jelly Alternatively, use cranberry sauce for a festive twist
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce Choose your favorite flavor
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Adjust for texture as needed
  • 1 large egg
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
Cooking
  1. In a slow cooker, mix grape jelly and barbecue sauce until blended.
  2. Add the meatballs to the slow cooker and stir to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until the meatballs are cooked through.

Notes

Chill meatballs for 30 minutes before cooking for better shape. Allow to cool and freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
