Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain gooey.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for 5-7 days at room temperature, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat for warm cookies.
