Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line rimmed baking sheets with unbleached parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients except the water.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water and pulse, gradually adding more until a cohesive dough forms.
- Turn the dough out on a lightly floured surface and roll to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut out small goldfish shapes and place them on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until light golden brown.
- Let cool and store in a sealed glass container at room temperature or freeze for longer storage.
Notes
These crackers can be served with dips like salsa or hummus. For better texture, keep the cheese and butter cold. You can also experiment with spices and different cheese varieties for unique flavors!
