Ingredients
  

Noodles and Sauces
  • 2 servings chow mein noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional
Vegetables
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, snow peas) You can swap for other fresh veggies
  • 2 units green onions, sliced For garnish and flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor
Seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender but still crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet.
  6. Pour the soy sauce and optional oyster sauce over the noodles and toss to combine.
  7. Stir in the sliced green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, drizzle a bit of sesame oil or top with sesame seeds. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for a month.
