Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Method

Cooking Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking Noodles
  1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  2. Add the egg noodles to the skillet, stirring them in the broth. Cook according to package instructions until tender, about 7-10 minutes.
Final Steps
  1. Once noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the pan and add the remaining butter. Toss everything together until well combined.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a dash of lemon juice or a sprinkle of chili flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for about 2 months. For a dairy-free version, substitute olive oil for butter.
