Ingredients
  

For the Crust
  • 1 ½ cups Oreo crumbs (about 24 cookies)
  • 6 Tablespoons butter (melted)
For the Filling
  • 1 ¼ cups heavy cream 300 ml
  • 2 cups good-quality bittersweet chocolate (chopped into similar size pieces) 12 oz
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 pints fresh raspberries about 4 cups
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Mix until everything is well-coated.
  2. Press the cookie mixture into a tart pan, making sure the bottom and sides are even. Chill the crust in the fridge while you make the filling.
Making the Filling
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the heavy cream just to a simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chocolate and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth and glossy.
Assembly
  1. Pour the chocolate mixture into the chilled crust.
  2. Refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
  3. Top with fresh raspberries and dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.

Notes

Use quality chocolate for the best taste. Don’t skip the chilling for the perfect tart texture. Experiment with toppings like mint leaves or white chocolate drizzle.
