  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Preferred low-sodium
  • 1/4 cup honey Can substitute maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger Fresh ginger can be used for a more robust flavor
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds a nice nutty flavor
For the Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings Can use frozen wings if thawed

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ground ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra crunch, try using baking powder with your wings. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
