Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oil or melted butter Can use either oil or melted butter
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Dry Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt Enhances the chocolate flavor
Mix-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips For extra gooeyness, increase to 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small baking pan (8x8 inches).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oil or melted butter, cocoa powder, and sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix until fully combined.
  4. Stir in the flour and salt until nicely mixed.
  5. Spread the batter into your greased pan.
Baking
  1. Bake at 350°F for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes
