Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually stir in the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it’s a smooth dough.
Baking
- Scoop out dollops of dough onto a baking tray.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
- Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool.
Frosting
- While cooling, whip up the cream cheese frosting by mixing softened butter and cream cheese.
- Add icing sugar until fluffy.
- Frost your cooled cookies and enjoy!
Notes
Store these cookies in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds for a fresh-baked taste.
