  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cups broccoli florets optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. If using, add the broccoli florets on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Shred the chicken with two forks or leave it whole.
  3. Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

This dish keeps beautifully! Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for about 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or on stovetop.
