Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the chicken broth, melted butter, Cajun seasoning, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce and stir in the heavy cream.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice or with crusty bread.
Notes
Leftovers keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days. For meal prep, freeze individual portions for up to 3 months. Thaw and reheat before serving.
