  • 4 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 pieces eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.
  2. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat or prepare a baking tray with cooking spray.
  2. If frying, cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. If baking, place on the baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Top each chicken breast with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese, placing them under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
  4. Drizzle honey mustard sauce on top and serve.

Notes

Timing is essential for that perfect crisp! You can substitute Swiss cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for a different flavor. Add herbs to the breadcrumb mix for an extra taste.
