Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and 1 tablespoon sugar; bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the flour until smooth.
- Allow to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla and salt.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Use a piping bag to pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
- Spray churro bites lightly with oil.
Cooking
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together; roll the warm churro bites in this sugar mixture.
Serving
- Serve warm, optionally dusted with extra cinnamon sugar or drizzled with melted chocolate or caramel sauce.
Notes
Got leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. For longer storage, freeze for about a month and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
