Ingredients
  

Churro Bites Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar for dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar for coating
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon for coating
  • 1 spray oil spray for frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and 1 tablespoon sugar; bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the flour until smooth.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla and salt.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Use a piping bag to pipe small bites onto parchment paper.
  7. Spray churro bites lightly with oil.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together; roll the warm churro bites in this sugar mixture.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, optionally dusted with extra cinnamon sugar or drizzled with melted chocolate or caramel sauce.

Notes

Got leftovers? Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. For longer storage, freeze for about a month and reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
