  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot, sauté onions and garlic over medium heat until they're translucent.
  2. Add in the carrots and celery. Cook until everything is nice and tender.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it all to a boil.
  4. Toss in the egg noodles. Cook according to the package instructions.
  5. Stir in the cooked chicken, heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, store noodles separately if freezing. Add fresh herbs or veggies for extra flavor.
