  • 1 pound ground beef For the main protein base.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor and richness.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Provides structure.
  • 1/2 cup milk To soak the breadcrumbs.
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped For freshness and color.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder For additional flavor.
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder.
  • to taste none Salt and pepper Seasoning to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, soaked breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until just combined (no need to overdo it!).
  5. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. Serve with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.

Notes

For a leaner option, use ground turkey instead of beef. You can also substitute almond milk for a dairy-free version. For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or sautéed onions.
