Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, soaked breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined (no need to overdo it!).
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve with pasta, in a sub, or as an appetizer.
Notes
For a leaner option, use ground turkey instead of beef. You can also substitute almond milk for a dairy-free version. For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or sautéed onions.
