Preparation
- In a pot, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms.
- Let it cool slightly, then beat in eggs until smooth.
Frying
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or a heavy pot (make sure it's hot!).
- Using a piping bag, pipe small bites into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels.
Coating and Serving
- In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll churro bites in the mixture.
- Fill each churro bite with Nutella, using a piping bag. Serve warm.
Notes
For best results, ensure the oil is hot before frying. You can chill the dough if it seems too sticky. Serve with extra Nutella and ice cream for an indulgent treat!
