Ingredients
  

For the chocolate cups
  • 1 cup Melted milk chocolate Use a high-quality chocolate for best results.
  • 6 pieces Disposable cups Any small disposable cups should work.
For the filling
  • 2 teaspoons Cocoa powder Adjust based on preference for chocolate intensity.
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows For topping the hot cocoa.
  • 3 pieces Candy canes Crushed or whole, depending on preference.
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar For decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slowly melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave on low power.
  2. Pour the melted chocolate into the disposable cups and swirl to coat the insides.
  3. Let the chocolate set, and then repeat the process for a stable cup structure.
  4. Once the cups are ready, remove them from the mold. Pour in a bit more melted chocolate and insert the candy canes.
  5. Let them dry.
Assembly
  1. Add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into each cup and top with mini marshmallows.
  2. Drizzle melted chocolate over the marshmallows to hold them in place.
  3. Decorate with more melted chocolate and a sprinkle of granulated sugar.
  4. Dip the cups back into chocolate for an extra touch.
Serving
  1. When ready, plop one of the cups into a mug of hot milk and stir to enjoy your hot cocoa!

Notes

You can store Chocolate Hot Cups in the fridge for up to one week. Also, consider using dark chocolate or flavored extracts for variations.
