Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your bundt pan with grease or flour to prevent sticking.
- In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: gluten-free flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, salt, and xanthan gum.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until it’s fluffy and light.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
Mixing
- Mix in the melted chocolate to your butter mixture.
- Gradually stir in the hot water, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
Baking
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Glazing
- For the glaze, melt the chocolate and cream together until it’s silky smooth.
- Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top before slicing and serving.
Notes
Letting the cake cool before glazing ensures a smooth finish. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
