Ingredients
  

For the cookie dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • sprinkles (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped strawberries gently.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto greased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  9. Optionally, drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with sprinkles.

Notes

Cookies can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about 1 week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and warm in the microwave for a fresh-baked taste.
