Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until everything combines beautifully.
- Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan.
Making Ganache
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream, stirring until smooth to create your ganache.
Assembly
- Once the brownies are cool, top them with sliced strawberries, then pour the chocolate ganache over the top.
- Allow the ganache to set before slicing into squares and serving.
Notes
For best results, do not overmix the batter. They can also be stored in the fridge for up to a week, or frozen for up to three months.
