Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Sprinkle the dough with cinnamon, crushed chocolate cookies, and mini chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
- Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Making the Icing
- For the icing, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and a bit of milk until smooth.
- Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls and top with extra crushed chocolate cookies. Enjoy!
Notes
You can prep the rolls ahead of time and refrigerate them overnight before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for about a month.
