Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For Wrapping
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, diced onions, and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent and fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before folding in shredded cheddar cheese.
Wrapping and Frying
  1. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, wet the edges with water, and place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center.
  2. Fold and roll tightly, sealing the edge with water.
  3. Heat oil in a clean skillet over medium-high heat. Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Drain on a napkin-lined plate and serve warm.

Notes

For variations, try using ground turkey, chicken, or black beans for a vegetarian option. Serve with a dipping sauce or sweet potato fries.
