Main Ingredients
  • 4 medium apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Milk, dark, or white chocolate can be used
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped The more, the merrier!
  • as needed lollipop sticks Or any sturdy stick
  • to taste sea salt Optional for a gourmet touch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the apples, then insert lollipop sticks into the top of each apple.
  2. Melt the caramel sauce according to package instructions.
  3. Dip each apple into the melted caramel, ensuring it's fully coated, and give it a little swirl.
  4. Place the caramel-coated apples on wax paper to set for a few minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Drizzle or dip the caramel apples in melted chocolate and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  7. Optional: sprinkle a little sea salt on top.
  8. Allow the apples to set before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge, separated by parchment paper, for 2-3 days. Great for parties or casual snacking!
