Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 box brownie mix Follow package instructions for preparation
  • 2 tablespoons water (for brownie mix)
Cheesecake Filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure to soften for a smooth mixture
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce Drizzle on top
  • Chocolate chips (optional, for topping) Add before serving if desired

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding 2 tablespoons of water, and pour it into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set. Let cool.
Cheesecake Mixture
  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  4. Then add sour cream and salt.
Assembly
  1. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie layer.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  3. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  4. Let cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
  5. Optional: Top with chocolate chips before serving.

Notes

Let the cream cheese soften for a smooth cheesecake mixture. Make sure the brownies cool completely for the best results. Feel free to add a generous drizzle of caramel! Variation: Add peanut butter or espresso powder for flavor twists. For vegan options, swap cream cheese for a vegan alternative and replace eggs with flax eggs.
